Organizing all the task information and being able to monitor tasks through monitoring are the prime requirements of such task managers. The trade off is too much information being available can make the viewing very cluttered. But, this application provides several filters to provide focused views of tasks; where the concern is to be able to check the completion status of these.

Organizing tasks, adding supplementary information such as notes, photos or any other kind of documents including web links is easy. Setting status, priorities and due dates take just a few mouse clicks. Archiving and searching back information is also easy. There’s a range of pre-defined tasks available depending on the type of projects/activities. Task completion status can be viewed graphically.

The reminders system of the application makes setting alerts about tasks and event is quite flexible. Snooze time setting, remind later etc functionality is available. Reminders for alerting team members, sending e-mails to collaborators also can be set up easily. The application can work for a team distributed over a local area network.

Cons: Overall the application is geared towards setting up projects and monitoring of those. But then there’s a vital ingredient, the overall project plan, is only available in the minds of the team leader/members. There is nothing like a MS Project plan that helps manage overall picture and resources.
